Here in picture 3 is broccoli rice mixed with sliced beef & all the ingredients from picture 1 ( onions, celery, red green & yellow peppers, garlic,) microwaved with a low fat red chilli and soya sauce, for around 5/6 minutes depending if you like a crunch or not, and picture 2 is a small side salad I have with it, loads of nutrition not too many calories.
There are several different alternatives to real rice ( high in carbohydrates) , I’ve used this one broccoli rice, I’ve also had cauliflower rice, and I had a Moroccan couscous rice the other day, all the alternatives are low in carbs and delicious.
Don’t get me wrong I love rice with curry and with chilli con carne but if you are serious about losing weight certain sacrifices have to made on a regular basis or goals will not be achieved, once you have reached your target weight then you can slowly introduce the rice you used to have, but that’s only when your weight has plateaued. Otherwise it will all come back on undoing all the good that has taken months and months to get to. FOCUS & MOTIVATION is key to everything when dieting, to stay strong and not to get side tracked.
